Previous and ongoing projects include:

  • “Reverse genealogy” of a Revolutionary War Captain, identifying and locating as many of his living descendants as possible for a client hoping to raise funds to care for his grave site.

  • Extensive research into a group of family lots at Cave Hill Cemetery, including creating a chart mapping the connections between all sixty-three people buried there and connecting them to their living descendants in the state of Kentucky.

  • A personalized booklet with historical sketches of the Cave Hill lot owners mentioned above as well as the family members with whom they are buried.

  • Using previously collected oral histories, maps, and aerial imagery to search for burial sites of enslaved people on the Blackacre Nature Preserve.

  • Searching for connections between a white client and Black relatives discovered through a DNA test.
